Jerry & Gwenda Summy
Pastor Summy has been in the ministry over 50 years and is the founding.pastor of Northeast. He and Gwenda have been married 60 years and they have 3 married children with 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. All of them live in the area. He served churches in Oklahoma before moving to Texas in 1976. He served on the staff of Friendship Baptist Church in Hurst until 1984. Northeast Baptist Mission was started in 1984 and then organized into an independent Baptist Church in February 1986. He preaches the Word of God from the KJV Bible and believes Jesus Christ is the only hope for all mankind. He believes God can and will save any sinner who repents of their sin and places their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. He loves serving as Pastor of Northeast Baptist Church and is looking forward to greater opportunities for ministry in the future.
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
